Overview
Anticoagulants reduce clotting; human formulations and dosing differ widely. Bleeding may not be obvious immediately. Some veterinary versus human drug names overlap, but tablet strengths do not.

Bleeding gums, bruising, black stool, coughing blood, weakness

Hours to days depending on drug

What to do
Seek veterinary advice after ingestion; do not wait for bleeding if a large amount was eaten.
