Routine & elective pet surgery with walk-in access

Whether your pet needs a planned spay or neuter, a cesarean section, mass removal, or urgent soft-tissue repair, our surgical team delivers hospital-grade care with upfront pricing and no appointment required—trusted by families across Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan, West Jordan, and the Salt Lake Valley.

Procedures we perform

Spay & neuter

Preventive sterilization for dogs and cats with individualized anesthesia, pain control, and same-day discharge for most patients.

Cesarean section (c-section)

Planned and urgent c-sections when labor stalls or fetal distress is suspected—paired with our reproductive medicine expertise.

Mass & tumor removal

Surgical removal of lumps and bumps with appropriate margins and histopathology guidance when indicated.

Wound & laceration repair

Repair of bite wounds, lacerations, and trauma from urgent care presentations—often same-day when medically appropriate.

Abdominal & soft-tissue surgery

Exploratory surgery, foreign body removal, hernia repair, bladder stone surgery, and other general soft-tissue operations.

Walk in anytime — no appointment required

You do not need a referral or a scheduled appointment to discuss surgery for your pet. Walk in during our open hours and our team will examine your pet, explain whether surgery is appropriate, and provide a written estimate before we proceed.

Many routine procedures—including spay, neuter, and elective mass removals—can be performed within days, not weeks. Urgent surgical needs from our walk-in urgent care service are prioritized when delay would harm your pet.

Routine surgeries we perform every week

Our veterinarians have completed thousands of procedures. These are the surgeries pet owners in the Salt Lake Valley most often need from a general practice hospital:

  • Spay (ovariohysterectomy) and neuter (castration) for dogs and cats
  • Cesarean sections for dystocia and complicated labor
  • Mass, lump, and tumor removal
  • Wound, laceration, and abscess repair
  • Foreign body removal and exploratory abdominal surgery
  • Hernia repair, cherry eye repair, and selected soft-tissue procedures

Transparent, affordable pricing

Surgery should not come with surprise bills. Before we schedule or perform a procedure, you receive a clear estimate that covers anesthesia, monitoring, the operation, pain medications, and routine post-operative care.

As a locally owned, doctor-led hospital, our recommendations are driven by what your pet needs—not corporate procedure quotas. We accept major payment methods and offer financing options for larger procedures. Learn more on our financing page.

Anesthesia, monitoring, and pain control

Anesthesia is not one protocol fits all. We tailor protocols to your pet’s health status and the procedure planned, with monitoring before, during, and after surgery so we can respond quickly if blood pressure, heart rate, or breathing drift off target.

Pain management starts before recovery and continues through discharge instructions you can follow at home—because a good outcome depends as much on comfort and healing at home as on the operation itself.

Recovery and follow-up

Before your pet goes home, you receive written guidance on medications, activity restriction, incision care, and warning signs that should prompt a call. Because we are open 11 AM – 11 PM daily, you have access to our team during recovery if concerns arise—not just a voicemail until Monday.

We proudly serve pet owners from Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan, West Jordan, Bluffdale, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, and across the Salt Lake Valley.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment for pet surgery?

No. Walk in for a surgical consult during our open hours. We will examine your pet, discuss timing, and provide an estimate. Many routine surgeries are performed within days—not weeks.

How much does spay, neuter, or other surgery cost?

Costs depend on your pet’s size, age, sex, and the procedure needed. We provide transparent, upfront estimates before surgery. Payment plans and CareCredit are available for qualifying clients—see our financing page.

Will my pet need blood work before surgery?

Many patients benefit from pre-anesthetic lab work, especially seniors or pets with chronic conditions. We recommend testing based on age, breed risk factors, and the procedure planned.

Should my pet fast before surgery?

For most elective procedures, fasting reduces aspiration risk under anesthesia. If surgery is not same-day, we give you specific fasting and water instructions tailored to your pet.

Do you perform orthopedic or specialty surgery?

We focus on soft-tissue and routine surgical needs appropriate to our facility. Complex orthopedic or specialty cases may be referred to a board-certified surgeon; we discuss options honestly.
