Same-day care when your pet cannot wait
What our urgent care is for
Urgent care is for problems that should not wait days for a routine slot: trauma from a fall or bite, trouble breathing, severe pain, repeated vomiting or diarrhea, toxin ingestion, heat-related illness, urinary blockage symptoms, acute weakness, and other sudden or worsening conditions. If you are unsure whether your pet needs to be seen, call us—we are happy to help you decide.
You do not need an appointment for urgent care. We triage every patient so the most medically urgent dogs and cats are prioritized, while still moving everyone forward as safely and quickly as possible.
We proudly serve pet owners from Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan, West Jordan, Bluffdale, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, and across the Salt Lake Valley.
Diagnostics and treatment under one roof
Our facility is equipped for in-house laboratory testing, digital radiology, ultrasound, and hospitalization when your pet needs to stay for fluids, monitoring, or repeated assessment. That means fewer delays between “something is wrong” and “here is what we know.”
Every case is led by experienced veterinarians who explain findings, options, and risks in plain language. You will know what we recommend, why we recommend it, and what to watch for at home when your pet is ready to leave.
If your pet needs a specialty hospital
Some conditions require overnight intensive monitoring or a surgical or medical specialist. When that is the right next step, we coordinate transfer with trusted 24/7 emergency and specialty hospitals and help make the handoff as smooth as possible for your pet and your family.
Common questions
Do I need an appointment for urgent care?
No. Urgent care is walk-in. We triage patients so the most medically urgent cases are addressed first.
What are your hours for urgent care?
We are open 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily for urgent care visits. Hours can change on holidays—check our contact page or call (801) 218-2227 before you drive.
Is urgent care the same as an emergency vet?
No. We provide same-day, doctor-led urgent care and are not a 24/7 emergency hospital. When overnight ICU-level support or specialty treatment is needed, we coordinate transfer with trusted 24/7 emergency and specialty hospitals.
Do you treat both dogs and cats?
Yes. Our urgent care team routinely sees dogs and cats for trauma, serious illness, and acute problems.
Call us or reach out — we're here to help you and your pet.
