Dr. Sharber and the entire staff at Utah Veterinary Emergency in Herriman were absolutely incredible. Everyone was compassionate, loving, and genuinely cared about Maverick. Dr. Sharber literally got down on the floor with Maverick to examine and comfort him. She listened to our concerns, discovered what had been missed during two previous veterinary visits, and acted quickly to save him. We were terrified we might lose Maverick, but she explained everything clearly and worked with us to make sure we could afford the care he needed. Thanks to Dr. Sharber and this amazing team, Maverick received the right treatment and is now healing beautifully. Their compassion, honesty, and dedication meant more to our family than we can express. We will forever be grateful. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this amazing clinic and Dr. Sharber!! My dog, Indy started bleeding very heavy amounts from her nose and it would not stop! We live in Tooele so it is not a close drive to get to any emergency vet, unfortunately. I rushed her to the car and started driving while calling emergency vets, being told twice that I had 15-18 patients ahead of me even though my dog was losing massive amounts of blood until I called UVEC and they told me to come right in and they would take her right back. Our sweet nurse, Amanda met me outside the doors and carried her right back! Everyone here is so compassionate. Even after leaving the clinic they followed up with me twice to get updates on Indy and one call from Dr. Sharber checking in and helping me get the further treatment she needed meant so much! Seriously can't praise them enough!! 🩷

I have never had a better experience with another vet, I wish we would’ve found them earlier! From the receptionists, to the nurses, to the docs, we were treated with such compassion, professionalism and empathy. Our dog was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and received a blood transfusion in house; every staff member treated her so kindly while she was there. Prices were laid out clearly, and extremely fair, especially for being emergency medicine. We met with both Dr Sharber and Dr Fisher. Both doctors were professional, empathetic, and clearly very experienced. We will only bring our dogs here in the future!

Amazing humans who show sincere care for the well being of your fur baby! I had to take my kitty, Loki (aka: Wittle Baby), in after hours for a cut on his head and they were able to get him in right away. They were so gentle and loving with him. Unfortunately, a few days later the injury site became abscessed. They once again got him in right away and took such good care of him. Both experiences were so warm and comforting. You can tell they really love what they do and take pride in helping animals. They were very diligent about walking me through how to care for the area at home. They answered all my questions. And they loved on my cat the whole time we were there. I was so impressed with them as vet professionals and just as good kind hearted humans. The vet and all the staff were just amazing and I couldn’t appreciate them more!

We brought our dog in for an abscess on his paw and some behavioral changes. We were in and out in under an hour. Especially considering it was a Sunday, $315 for the exam, wound care, medications, and cone was very reasonable. I would bring my dog back. Their exam fee is $150 regardless of if it's an emergency, urgent care, or wellness. Clean office.

We had a great experience with UVEC yesterday. The entire team was extremely professional, organized, efficient, and genuinely positive throughout the visit. They explained everything clearly, answered our questions, and made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. Their level of professionalism really stood out. Our little guy was SO very well taken care of! As were WE!! Not having needed to take one of our fur babies to an emergency vet before, we were anticipating the services, especially A SURGERY to be much more expensive than it was, but we were SO VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to see the final bill at such a REASONABLE COST!! This EASED our MINDS considerably, as we left for home, MEDS IN HAND, to care for our little guy. We feel that we were VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF and will DEFINITELY RETURN if ever needed!! 💕 Thank you Utah Veterinary Emergency Center for TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE of our Zuko, and for HELPING him GET BACK ON HIS FEET!! 🐾

I have been going to vets for years and the one that I truly liked shut down because he retired so I usually just use emergency vets when needed because he is older dog. My dogs started having random seizures and they thoroughly ran tests and explained everything every step of the way. Dr Fisher was amazing so was the rest of the staff ❤️ thank you for saving my puppy ❤️ The price was great and they have several payment options like care credit and cherry. They have snacks and drinks and tablets for kids and a TV. I couldn't speak more highly of a vet

Dr Sharber & her team have seen all 3 of our Bernese Mountain dogs, from a Sprained Shoulder to a Torn ligament. They were able to accurately diagnose each of our dogs and I cannot be happier with the love, care & attention they provide. The front desk staff are friendly & professional even when busy. We won’t take our animals anywhere else for emergency treatment! Thank you Dr Sharber & your staff

Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to my best friend but the staff and vet at this place were the best! They are so professional and take great care of the animals and the people. My guy passed away at there place and they did an amazing job at taking care of my dog and me! I will definitely go here with my other dog for future vet visits. They also sent me a sweet card and ink paw and nose print! So sweet thank you everyone who works here!

I was weary of taking my dog (italian mastiff) to a new vet when my regular vet couldn't get us in for an emergency visit. I've had horrendous experiences at other clinics. Being Extremely picky makes it even worse. During the phone call to the clinic, Kaitlyn calmed my nerves. As soon as we walked through the door Kaitlyn was extremely personable and able to calm my dog down. She was going out of her way to help our entire stay. I feel bad for forgetting the Vet Tech's name but she had a calming demeanor and was able to quickly get all the vitals. She was extremely patient. Dr. Janell was great with my dog. She quickly found out what was wrong and explained it in a way I could understand. I was shocked that all the test results came back in an hour and she didn't try to upsell me. Her competency and professionalism really stood out to me. All the staff really impressed me. I could spend hours praising them. I've already referred people to them and am going to go to them instead of my regular vet.

I enjoyed interacting with the staff at the clinic. Everyone was calm, friendly, supportive, and thoughtful. I'm an observer so I notice things going on around me. Each person and phone call the staff interacted with was focused on kindness and compassion for each loved furry family member. I especially appreciate how nobody rushed me or made me feel like there wasn't enough time to make decisions. This was our first visit. I took our cat Pumpkin in because he wasn't eating, drinking water, or using the litter box. I appreciate the triage approach to the clinic and also appreciate the effective communication. The environment is clean, well stocked, well staffed, easy to find by GPS, and comfortable for waiting in the main area or exam room. There's a restroom and something to snack or sip while you're there. Be sure to ask for landmarks or what the building and signage looks like from the road as you're driving there. The staff who took my phone call told me what to look for, but it's good to ask them since the building itself is not yet labeled with big signage for the center. Don't let this detail deter you. It's a wonderful place to go where you get to stay and determine options for care and treatment instead of just dropping your pet off. A drop off would not have worked for me, given that I was anxious and worried about Pumpkin.

This vet emergency clinic is different from any others we’ve been to. The pricing is much lower than most and they’re very transparent about their pricing and don’t hide fees, the staff is so kind and has empathy for you, they genuinely seem to love their four-legged patients, and they had snacks and drinks for you while you wait. While I hope we never have to go back to the vet ER, if we have to, we are coming here again.
