Overview
Vitamin D overdose causes dangerous calcium/phosphorus elevations and kidney injury. Concentrated supplements, psoriasis creams, and some rodenticides are high risk. “Gummy” supplements may add xylitol for dogs.
Symptoms
Vomiting, increased thirst/urination, weakness, kidney signs
Typical onset
6–72+ hours
Formulations
Topical creams can be licked — bring the tube.
